Our Services

It's our desire here at Alder Creek Labradoodles to have a program that directly benefits the health and quality of our dogs and the developing breed. We are committed to learn about this breed and gain understanding of the genetics and how it will affect our breeding program as well as the developing breed in general.

A code of ethics is important to us as we operate our business of raising Labradoodles. We will stand by the following:

  • We choose to only breed with dogs that are in good health and are physically and temperamentally sound.
    • Both parents will have at minimum:
    • Appropriate hip clearances by PennHip Method or OFA Hip Certification
    • An Eye exam-certified normal by the Canine Eye Registry Foundation (CERF)
  • We keep accurate and thorough records of our dogs in the breeding program.
  • We provide quality food, water, shelter and routine medical care. As responsible owners of our dogs, we feel that they should be treated kindly and with love as they are a part of our family. Our puppies are raised in a healthy environment with lots of love and socialization at each age level.
  • We will be available to answer your questions before and after you have purchased one of our puppies. We will answer them as openly and honestly as possible. If we do not have an answer to your question we will seek out the information you are looking for from a quality and experienced breeder. Our commitment to you lasts as long as you own one of our dogs.

SEE WHERE YOUR PUPPY IS WHELPED & RAISED

Our puppies are born in an area (6 X 8) of our family room (17 X 30). From there we can see and hear them easily from our bedroom. For the first week I, Connie, sleep next to them on the floor to make sure all is well. This area is full of life and where they have constant supervision. Here they are exposed to the sounds, sights, and scents of a typical household from the time their eyes and ears are open. At about 5 weeks of age they are moved to an area where they have more room to play. They will be given time outdoors to run in the grass, explore, and be introduced to our other dog. It is important to us that they be given opportunity for stimulation as this is beneficial for the well being and development of the pup. As they leave our home to join yours, we are hopeful that they are accustomed to being a part of a family inside and outside.
