A Little About Us
Hi, we are Don and Connie Richardson and we welcome you to our site. We look forward to helping you find the puppy of your dreams. Here is a little bit about who we are and why we became interested in breeding Labradoodles.
We have really been blessed living in the Willamette Valley in Oregon all our lives. We enjoy our state and the activities that we can choose from in each of the seasons. We feel fortunate to have been able to enjoy country living all these years. We are not far from the coast or the mountains where we can participate in all the outdoor sports and camping in a variety of settings.
We have raised our two sons in the same house we are still in today. One son is married and has blessed us with two grandsons. Our eldest son is in Portland and the designer and creator of our website. Our grandsons are in our home a lot, making sure that the dogs or pups have enough attention and get adequate exercise. Ha ha.
The life here on the farm has had at some point horses, pigs, chickens, ducks, rabbits and cows. We still have a small herd of registered Black Angus. Our lives have been focused around the interests of our sons, be that of the sport arena, 4-H, and our church. We have always had 1-4 dogs as a part of our family. We've experienced different breeds which include: a Border Collie, an Australian Shepherd, Labrador Retrievers, and a Rottweiler. One of our sons is quite allergic to dogs and so having them in our home, while he was here, was not an option. THEN WE HEARD ABOUT THE LABRADOODLES!
We've come to know the breed through Spring Creek Labradoodles. Don and I are very excited about Labradoodles. They have a wonderful temperament and are quite cute! Some Labradoodles will be shed free and allergy friendly, while others may still shed and not be compatible if there is a serious allergy problem. Our focus is to produce a Labradoodle will qualities of trainability, pleasing personalities and coats that will fulfill your needs and desires. They're a lovable family dog and we are so thrilled to become a partner in this breed.
