2nd Generation F1B Labradoodles
Born: April 3, 2007
It's always fun to watch this part of development. What we are seeing thus far with their temperaments is wonderful! They are a quiet bunch; even when you hold them they relax allowing you to move them around. The black coats are very gorgeous, full of shine and quite soft. We have a spread in size with the black pups. One of the chocolates shows a heavy curly coat while the other chocolate will certainly have a wavy coat. One of the golden pups tends to carry more of Lulu's red color. These lighter colored pups do have a nice buff tone to them. I look forward to watching all the coats develop, even though it takes a year or more for you to see the final coat type of the dog.
We are accepting Puppy Applications for this litter and expect them to be ready for your home around the June 1st. Get your application in now so we can best fit you with the "right" puppy. We welcome your inquiries and questions. You may contact us by email or phone 541-747-3538 (evenings are best).
The first pup was born at 8:05 a.m. on April 3rd and the last joined the party at 5:50 p.m. Lulu had 4 black, 3 apricot and 3 chocolate babies; a mix of 7 males and 3 females. Continue to watch this litter grow and change as we periodically post pictures.
From their birth weights we think these pups will mature to 25-45 pounds; we'll have a better idea as we watch their growth patterns over the next few weeks.
I am looking forward to see how these silky and wavy coats develop. Oh, puppies smell so good! I wish all of you could experience their beginning, it truly is amazing! As you can see in Devons Got Groove Too ("Rocky") picture he has a curly wool coat while Lulu's is a soft hair coat. There may be combinations of coat types as well and we will keep you posted on that too.
Lulu is a wonderful mother as we have observed her to be with her previous litter Even more calm this time and very comfortable with the task ahead for her. Of course "Rocky" hasn't a clue he's a daddy, he goes about life as before; a big boy in a small body.
